Ever wondered what it's like to be a giant robotic dragonfly?

Give first person view quadcopter flying a try. Apparently after flying one for long enough, it's an out of body experience. You might actually mistake yourself for some random dude wearing VR goggles as you fly by.

I'm sure sports videographers won't take long to pick up on this, theres no limit (other than the range of your radio) to how far you can chase that rally car. Plus, think of the angles you can get, flying under trees or through windows. Imagine chasing a pack of F1 cars under the bridge at Suzuka! There'd be a whole lot of turbulence... but nothing a good gyro can't deal with.

Pictured: No more of this admittedly awesome but very much suicidal nonsense. Also, the quad could be 2 feet off the ground following along, or swooping under the tree, or like anything else the fuck you want it to do.

You could fly under a trophy truck in midair.

You could fit a couple with little laser tag setups and have awesome dogfights.

Pictured: Like this, but in your back yard.

You could even fit two cameras and go full 3D virtual reality.

I keep thinking of more things this would be awesome at. Like kind of everything.

Basically, thanks to silicon valley Hogwarts, with the wave of a radio antenna magic wand you can turn yourself into a quadcopter giant laser beam shooting cyborg dragonfly.

Happy freaking 2015 people. It's a good time to be alive.
